Private Lessons

Violin and Piano Lessons
Michelle is available to instruct students of all ages on both the violin and piano.  The Suzuki method is used in violin instruction.

Fees
Lesson fees will be $20 for 30 minutes of private instruction or $30 for 45 minutes of private instruction.

Policies
1.  It is expected that students will practice their instrument 30 minutes a day.  Parents should monitor practice.

2.  Michelle will hold four lessons a month, typically on Mondays.  Fifth Mondays during the year will be used for make up lessons.

3.  All four lessons for the month should be paid for at the first lesson of the month.

4.  If you are unable to attend a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances (sickness or funerals), the lesson will be made up on the next fifth Monday of the month.  Lessons missed because of family vacations or other planned events will not be made up.

5.  If Michelle cancels a lesson, the full amount will be credited to a future lesson.

6.  If lessons are missed on a regular basis (more than two a month) for more than two consecutive months, we will discuss the possibility of ending lessons to make room for another student.

7.  Summer policy (June, July, August): Students must take at least six lessons during the summer to reserve your spot.  You may choose which six weeks to schedule.
